Community Languages Victoria has been contracted by the Department of Education & Training Victoria to provide professional learning activities for Victorian Community Language
Schools Teachers to strengthen the delivery of quality language programs to school-aged children.
Each semester Community Languages Victoria conducts a series of professional learning activities including:

2023 Program
CLV is pleased to bring you the Semester 1 2023 series of LOTE Methodology Trainings by RMIT University, Monash University and Victoria University.
A few things to remember:
- The trainings will be conducted online for Semester 1, 2023.
- There is limited space to each course so book early.
- Check start dates for each course and make note of them in your calendar. The detailed course outline will be sent to confirmed registrants only.
- It's requested that only Principals or School Administrators register their teachers.
- Submit a NEW form for each Teacher you wish to register.
- Only confirmed participants will be emailed all the information related to attending these trainings online.

The professional development sessions are considered one of CLV most essential activities available for CLS teachers. They are always in great demand, attracting strong numbers of participants that indicate they are beneficial and require more.
The topics offered are very practical and useful and have been selected in response to teachers' needs and demands and delivered by experienced practitioners in languages education teaching and training.
CLV is pleased to bring you the Professional Development Program for Semester 1, 2022 which will be offered online and face to face.

CLV is currently negotiating with CPRFirst Aid Trainer a series of First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma courses. CLS will be notified of the program when it is available.

The community languages schools conference is always an inspiring event for community schools. It gives language teachers the opportunity to network,
benefit from the keynote speakers and the workshops offered.
Each year over 350 language teachers get together and enjoy the experience.
The 2023 Community Languages Schools Conference is held in July 8th at RMIT Storey Hall.
