ESAV Activities
|
The activity list contains:
- State & National Conferences
- Professional Development sessions
- LOTE Methodology training courses
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma courses
The state conference is always regarded as the sum up of all activities where over 400 people from 30 language groups come together to celebrate ESAV achievments throughout the year.
The professional development sessions are always in great demand attracting strong numbers of participants which indicates they are beneficial and more is required.
The topics offered are very practical and useful and have been selected in response to teachers’ needs and demands and have been delivered by experienced practitioners in languages education teaching and training.
The LOTE methodology courses are aso considered one of the most important activity that ESAV provides to its members.
A serious of courses are offered each semester in 3 languages (Chinese – English – Vietnamese) and conducted by professional trainers from well known universities here in Victoria and nationally (RMIT, VU, Deakin Uni and Monash Uni).
These courses create pathways. Having successfully completed the courses participants have the opportunity to proceed with further studies at TAFE and University levels.
