In 2018 the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) has granted Community Languages Australia re-registration as a Senior Secondary Provider to deliver VCE Languages units 1- 4 on behalf of Victorian CLS.
Single Study Language Provider Registrations
All SSLP are required to maintain its registration and obligation with the following authorities:
Accreditation with the Department of Education
Registration with CLV
Non-school senior secondary or foundation secondary provider with VRQA
Single Study Language Providers (SSLPs) intending to deliver VCE language studies in 2024 are required to submit an Application for authorisation as a Single Study Language Provider by August 12th.
They must complete this process (Stage 1) annually, regardless of whether they are new or previously authorised.
This includes SSLPs within the registration of Community Languages of Australia and senior secondary course providers authorised by the VCAA, the accredited owner of the Victorian Certificate of Education program (Education and Training Reform Regulations 2017).
Single Study Language Providers applying for authorisation to deliver the VCE must demonstrate capacity to comply with the conditions set by the VCAA.
